Nellie, 15hh, Reg Welsh Sec D mare, DOB 1996, Bright Bay.

UNDER NEGOTIATION

Nellie is a beautiful mare, she is looking for a new home due to owners lack of time
and relocation. She is fit and well has no special requirements. she lives out happily
all year but is also happy to be stabled. Nellie has only been ridden occasionally
over the last couple of years and would benefit from some re-schooling. She would
benefit from a confident, experienced rider and could be great for Veteran Horse Showing!
She is good with the farrier and easy to catch. She loves to be fussed and groomed and is
just not getting the attention she deserves.

Could you offer Nellie a new chapter in her life? Please ring the office for more details

Tarquin. 15hh ArabxWelsh. DOB 1977. Grey Gelding

Tarquin has been with his owner for 25 years and it is a heartbreaking decision to
have to rehome this much loved special lad. Tarquin has mild arthritis which means he
is now ready to be retired as he can stumble when ridden. The loss of his sharer means
his owner is no longer able to fully care for him due to her own health difficulties.
His owner would be happy to contribute towards his daily costs in a home which can provide
him with the love and care he needs. Tarquin is a really gentle and easy to do in every way
- he is good with the farrier, other horses and children too. He would make an excellent
companion or nanny to other horses and is a real joy to have around. He still has plenty of
life in him which he shows by regularly cavorting in the field! He currently lives out in
the summer and comes in at night in the winter time. If you think you can offer Tarquin
a loving retirement home, preferably in the Surrey, Sussex / Kent areas, please contact the VHW
