FUNDRAISING

Thank you for visiting the fundraising section of the Veteran Horse Welfare. We have
several schemes and campaigns on the go, some of which are completely free to
use. The schemes we have signed up to have been carefully sourced to give an
important ‘drip feed revenue’ and also supply the charity with free marketing
materials, so the money raised by you, our supporters, goes directly to the care and
welfare of the Veterans at the centre in Pembrokeshire. Your money also helps to
keep our free helpline for advice, support and counselling service going.

Q. How do I know that the funds go directly to the horses.

A. If you come along to the centre, this becomes apparent.  It costs us thousands of pounds to rehabilitate one horse and we have
over 20 at this present time.

Q. I don’t like asking for money, is there anything else I can do?

A. Join E-Bay and sell your unwanted items donating any money you have made to the Charity.

Q. How do I obtain posters and leaflets, to help me?

A.  A phone call to head office and all this will be sent in the post.  If you email them, this will save money and they can electronically
send you a full fund raising pack.

Q.  How do I organise different events?

A. The staff at head office, will give you all the help you need.  To begin with make enquiries about a good venue and always ensure
you address health and safety.

Q. What is Gift Aid?

A. Gift Aid is where the charity is able to obtain 28p in every £ donated, as long as the donor pays income tax.
