FUNDRAISING

Thank you for visiting the fundraising section of the Veteran Horse Welfare. We have
several schemes and campaigns on the go, some of which are completely free to
use. The schemes we have signed up to have been carefully sourced to give an
important ‘drip feed revenue’ and also supply the charity with free marketing
materials, so the money raised by you, our supporters, goes directly to the care and
welfare of the Veterans at the centre in Pembrokeshire. Your money also helps to
keep our free helpline for advice, support and counselling service going.
Congratulations to Lisa Jones, who ran the Great Northern run in aid of the Veteran Horse Welfare and raised nearly £1,000

Latest campaign news...

We are happy to introduce our latest campaign; The Weather Lottery is a great way to support us and be lucky at the same time.
You could win a £10,000 jackpot prize per day (unlike the weekly Lottery draw this is not a shared jackpot win, you get the whole
£10,000) for as little as 25 per day.

What your money is needed to go to
?

We need desperately need money to help fund the running costs of the yard. For example,

the Veterans in our care need to fund the following:

The Welfare Helpline is available for counselling and offering advice 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. £12,500.

Farrier costs – the farrier visits the centre every 6 weeks – We have based our suggested figure on last year’s total - £1,000

Dentistry – the equine dentist visits the centre every 6 months. We have based our suggested figure on last year’s total (and
reduced by 50% as most of the veterans in our care have had most of the major dental work they require) - £ 600.00

Veterinary – We have based our suggested figure on last year’s total - £5,000

Fully equipped equine ambulance – £5,000
